Where are you from?  Indian Trail, NC
What is your day job?
VCU Department of Art Education Administrative Director, Instructor and Artist.
What brought you to Stuff?
I lived in Durham, NC where a creative reuse shop called the Scrap Exchange has existed since 1991. I felt it was a good model for a similar  shop in Richmond.  I taught a course at VCU in Spring 2008 called "Creative Sustainability" and met Diana, one of my students. As their final project, students proposed a local sustainability project and through that project I met Liz and the three of us got to talking.
What is your guilty pleasure? Facebook (add Stuff to your causes!)

Diana Wagner
Where are you from?
Charlotte, NC
What is your day job?  artist, nomad, aspiring cobbler.
What brought you to Stuff?
As an artist, I am interested in found objects and the creative reuse of ordinary discarded materials. For the past few years, I volunteered at the Children's Museum of Richmond. In the museum's art studio, the majority of the materials used by children to create art are recycled and donated objects. This combination of being a student, artist, and volunteer lead me to Liz and Sarah who share my passion for creative reuse!
What is your guilty pleasure?
Horizon Vanilla Milk.

Liz Burroughs
Where are you from? Fairfield, CT
What is your day job?
I wear many hats.
What brought you to Stuff?
I am interested in a local and creative approach to environmental issues. I think creative reuse is a great way to connect creativity with environmental education while diverting material from landfills. I pitched the idea to Back Porch and a wonderful partnership was born!!
What is your guilty pleasure?  Right now, Gossip Girl.

What is your day job?Account Manager at American Cheerleader Magazine
What brought you to Stuff?  In college I worked as a marketing intern for the N.C. Division of Pollution Prevention and Environmental Assistance. The position inspired me to make a more direct effort to promote and participate in recycling and re-use initiatives. After moving to Richmond I heard about a group looking to start a re-use shop and jumped in to help.
What is your guilty pleasure?Buckets of Trader Joe’s Vanilla Meringues and  tic-tacs.

What brought you to Stuff?
I have always felt a personal responsibility to spend my time in a career that gives back to society and helps the communities around me. I chose my internship at Stuff in order to learn more about the workings of a nonprofit organization and to help Stuff educate the Richmond community about sustainability and reuse.
What is your guilty pleasure?  Ebay impulse buys

Lisa Rigby
Where are you from?
Winston-Salem, NC
What is your day job?
Admissions Recruitment Assistant at Moore College of Art & Design, in Philadelphia, PA.
What brought you to Stuff? Diana Wagner, one of the co-founders of Stuff, encouraged me to learn more about sustainability in material culture.  A long-time recycler, I am still a neophyte to the other faucets of sustainability.  I'm excited to be learning about creative reuse since joining the blog team at Stuff!
What is your guilty pleasure?  I have so many.  Lately my big indulgences are the handmade cosmetic products from Lush, but my life-long indulgence will always be: ice cream.
